This wiki, eBookNotes @Wiki, includes abridgedments of non-fiction and fiction books that focus on important ideas. The motivation behind the idea for a book abridgement is to facilitate knowledge acquisition for the vast number of people who lack the time to read the demanding unabridged version. Go to Amazon.com, read almost any review and you will invariably find many reviews that exhorts the book as required reading. Sum all the required reading and you will arrive an unrealistic expectation.

If you doubt the utility of books, then I ask you to go here where I make the case for the affirmative. Sometimes it is not enough to make an argument for books; sometimes you need to provoke people to their value, which I hope I have achieved here.
